After working in the production business for 17 years, mostly in secular positions, Hammonds decided he wanted to use his skills for the Lord on a full-time basis and accepted an offer from CfCB, Inc. to work as an editor and videographer.

Hammonds and wife, Shannon, live in Searcy, Arkansas where Shannon is employed by the White County Medical Center. They are members of the Highway congregation in Judsonia, Arkansas.

Stephen Hammonds hails from Ventura, California where he was born and raised. He moved to Arkansas to attend Harding University and graduated in 1999 receiving his BA in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media. While still a student, Stephen started his professional career as a cameraman and editor for TV3, a local TV station. Within one year, Hammonds was promoted to Production Manager and learned to balance his studies with the start of a professional career.

Hammonds met his future wife among his peers in the communication department. After graduation, he and fiancée, Shannon Sullivan where married in Fresno, California where they lived for six months before returning to Arkansas. Hammonds accepted his second stent as Production Manager of TV3 where he remained until 2004.

In 2004 Hammonds began a video ministry with Truth for Today World Mission School in Searcy where he designed and built a very practical and useable production studio and video-editing suite. Until his departure, Hammonds produced numerous projects for use in the United States and abroad. In 2007, he accepted the position of Studio Manager for Ron Sherman Tele-productions in Little Rock. It was there that he excelled in his production skills: working with tight deadlines, traveling on location shots, and shooting and editing over 200 national and international commercials every month.
